Indian Wells Certified Farmers Market

Palm Spring Outdoors Farmers Market

Find local fruits and vegetables at the Palm Spring Certified Farmers Market, 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Saturdays through May. Masks are mandatory. In the Camelot Theatres parking lot, 2300 E. Baristo Road. For more information, visit certifiedfarmersmarkets.org. 

Desert X

The third edition of Desert X, curated by César García-Alvarez and Neville Wakefield, will be held throughout the Valley through May 16. For more information on the international art exhibit, visit Desertx.org. 

Perez Plaza Art and Design Art Walk

Presented by Anne Bedrick Fine Art, the monthly Perez Plaza Art and Design Art Walk showcases works on display at nine contemporary galleries in Cathedral City. The monthly event takes place from 5 to 8 p.m. on the first Friday of each month through July.

Stroll Sunnylands

Stroll the gardens of Sunnylands, relax on benches, or take a self-guided audio tour. Admission to the gardens is free from 8:30 a.m to 4 p.m., Wednesday through Sunday. As of press time, there was limited access to the Center, including the gift shop located in the theater and the restrooms located near the north entrance. The café is open for outdoor walk-up orders. Also free to visitors is the exhibit, In Motion: Agam, featuring kinetic sculpture by Israeli-born Yaacov Agam. 37977 Bob Hope Drive in Rancho Mirage. Living Desert Zoo and Gardens

The Living Desert Zoo and Gardens is open to visitors daily from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. with last admission at 4 p.m. To avoid crowding, timed tickets are required and can be purchased at Livingdesert.com. 

Wheels up!

The Palm Springs Air Museum has reopened. Featuring aircraft from World War 2, Korea and the Vietnam Wars, the museum is open daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. For the more adventurous visitors, warbird rides can be scheduled. For more information, visit palmspringsairmuseum.org.

Cinco de Mayo golf

Palm Desert Area Chamber of Commerce hosts a scramble golf tournament at Classic Club on May 5. Stick around after golf  for a fiesta and corn hole tournament. For more information, visit business.pdacc.org.

Keys Ranch Tours

Explore the colorful story and numerous artifacts of Joshua Tree's Keys Ranch during this guided tour held at 9:30 a.m. every Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday through May 31. Cost is $10 for adults; $5 for Senior/Access Pass holders and for children ages 6-11. Free for children under 6. Reservations are required. Flea Market Finds

The Palm Spring Flea Market and Food Fest has set up shop at 675 Crossley Road in Palm Springs. The market features vendors selling everything from vintage to fun finds, fresh produce and food truck fare. Open weekends through June 20, flea markets hours are 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturdays and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sundays.

Tee Time

The Greater Coachella Valley Chamber Invitational tees off with a shotgun start at 7:30 a.m. May 10. The annual tournament will be held at Eagle Falls Golf Course at Fantasy Springs Resort Casino. More information can be found at gcvcc.org.
